ChilliScan is a free informational tool to help growers diagnose and manage common chilli plant problems using AI-assisted photo analysis. It is not a professional horticultural service, and the advice it provides is not a substitute for qualified agronomical advice or your own judgement.

ChilliScan does not collect, store, or share your personal data.

• Photos you take are sent to our servers solely to be analysed by the AI, then immediately discarded. They are not stored, logged, or used for any other purpose.
• Your diagnosis history, variety, and progress data are saved only in your browser's local storage on your own device. We never see or transmit them.
• We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind.
• We do not collect your name, email address, or any information that could identify you.
• If you choose to share your location, your approximate city and country are included in the AI prompt to give regionally relevant advice. Location is never stored, logged, or sent to any third party. You can type it manually or leave it blank.

Clicking affiliate links does not share any of your chilli data with Amazon or any third party.

When you use the scan feature, your photos are analysed by an AI system. AI diagnoses are approximate — accuracy varies with photo quality, lighting, and the condition of your plant. The system may misidentify issues or miss problems that are not clearly visible in the photos.

Always use your own judgement before acting on any diagnosis. If you are unsure about a plant problem or the appropriate treatment, consult a qualified horticulturalist or agronomist.

The variety identification feature provides an estimate based on visual characteristics. Many chilli varieties look similar, and identification from photos alone is inherently uncertain. Results marked “low confidence” or accompanied by a caveat should be treated with particular caution.

When using plant chemicals — pesticides, fungicides, fertilisers — always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Keep chemicals out of reach of children and pets, and follow any re-entry intervals stated on the label.
